The 5th annual Pontchartrain Film Festival will be hosted Nov. 4-5 by the City of Mandeville’s Department of Cultural Development at the Mandeville Trailhead, 675 Lafitte St. in Mandeville, Louisiana.
Last year’s festival screened 28 films, most represented by filmmakers and crew members at the festival. A filmmaker’s forum allowed audiences to engage with these award-winning and emerging Louisiana filmmakers.
The Pontchartrain Film Festival celebrates the variety of communities and culture that make the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain one of the unique areas of the New Orleans and Gulf coast region. By bringing high quality films, filmmakers, artists, exhibitions and workshops, the Pontchartrain Film Festival has become a premier cultural arts event on the north shore.
