Project Grants

Overton

Tapestry Collection by Hilton™ and Youth Service America are partnering, through the #LeadASAP Tapestry Collection Spark the Arts Program, to activate youth to organize projects that improve neighborhoods around new Tapestry Collection locations through art. This opportunity is available in New Orleans. #LeadASAP Tapestry Collection Spark the Arts grants of $500 will be awarded to up to 10 youth, schools, youth development/afterschool programs, and community-based organizations in New Orleans to support youth-led projects that activate volunteers ages 12-25. Projects will take place in the Spring of 2018. Proposed projects should use the arts (music, painting, drawing, writing, dance/movement, graphic design, drama/theater, photography, film-making, comedy, fashion design, etc.) to address a cause in the community (poverty, hunger, health and well-being, education, equality, safety, climate change, environment, peace, etc.) by educating others, volunteering, advocating, or fundraising. Select grantees will have a chance to be recognized by Tapestry Collection and Youth Service America at an event at The Troubadour New Orleans, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The application deadline is February 15, 2018.
