Lafayette Film Fest with Student Entry Discount

My name is Brooke Hebert and I am the director of a first year film festival called Southern Gothic. We are based in Lafayette Louisiana!

As a filmmaker and a former film student, I know how frustrating it can be to find platforms where people can watch your films. But I also know how awesome it is to get to show an audience your films!

That's why I started my own festival to provide another accessible way to get those films out there! It definitely wanted this festival to be about the filmmakers.

We even have a special block dedicated to Louisiana student films called 'Freetown Flicks' which is named after the area around our University.

Southern Gothic is a horror festival, however, our Louisiana student block is open to all genres!
